Serving alcohol comes with a great deal of responsibility. Keeping patrons safe from harm and your business safe from liability is a job that falls to anyone serving alcohol. The failure to act responsibly may result in fines, loss of your liquor license, damage to your reputation, increased cost of insurance, or even imprisonment.
iMix Academy provides the education and training required to safely serve alcohol in Michigan. Taught by a certified ServSafe Instructor, classes cover topics such as: Fundamental of safety; Michigan's alcohol laws; Recognizing and preventing intoxication; Handling illegal activities and aggressive situations; Mixology basics; and more! All class materials and supplies are included in the price and provided to participants. Class prices are usually $300 (or less) for a 6-8 hour session. |
